Emily Ulmer (she/her) came to the farm in May of 2020 for a seminary internship and quickly made a home here. Any given day can find her fine-tuning Bible study curriculum for Plainsong’s Good News Garden program, washing dishes for Sabbath at the Farm, or talking about place and faith with a participant in Plainsong’s young adult programming. Emily’s work at Plainsong weaves together her experience as a worship planner, her passion for young adult discipleship, her commitment to environmental justice, and her background in grassroots community development. She is an avid baker, canner, podcast listener, and caretaker of indoor plants.
