GIVE THANKS AND CELEBRATE CREATION AT THE FARM
During the growing season, we offer scheduled opportunities for farm-based worship. These are open to the public, and everyone is welcome.
Blessing the Fields 2019 — May 19, 4pm
Every Spring, we give thanks to God and ask for blessings on our newly sown crops. Please join us as we walk the fields, pray for our place, and celebrate the bounty to come at a simple potluck meal.
SABBATH AT THE FARM — summer Sundays at 4:30pm
Think you might be nurtured by simple worship with a backdrop of chickens, bird songs and ripening vegetables? Plainsong Farm is open Sunday evenings throughout the summer for rest, renewal, common prayer and a relaxed potluck meal.
We begin at 4:30pm with a half hour to pray on your own, rest under the trees or take a tour of the fields. At 5pm, we offer a short worship service that includes scripture, music and a shared reflection. A potluck dinner follows; you are invited, but not required, to bring a dish to pass.
Sabbath at the Farm is family-friendly. Sabbath at the Farm is held outdoors, so we may have to cancel in case of a downpour. Watch our Facebook page for cancellations.
