A Liturgy for Getting Ready

In Michigan, the Christian season of Lent and the start of the farming season overlap.  Both are times of preparation.  On the farm the soil, the space, tools, and even seeds are being prepared to serve the life of the community.  In Lent Christians pray, fast, and reflect, so that their lives can be more greatly oriented towards the Giver of Life.  

Together we will get our hands in the soil, sing, and prayerfully orient ourselves towards life.
