Jeffrey Schra (he/him) got to know Plainsong Farm first as an occasional visitor and then, along with his wife, Lisa, as part of the Companion Fellows program. He joined the board in 2026. Jeffrey has a Bachelor's degree in History and Classics and an MBA from the Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien (University of Economics) in Vienna, Austria, where he lived for 6 years. Most of Jeffrey's professional experience has come in the non-profit sector where he enjoys helping organizations connect authentically with their supporters and think strategically about their finances. Jeffrey shares Plainsong's love for growing good food. This year he hopes to finally grow enough garlic to last him and his family the whole year through.
